WE ARE LOOKING FOR OUR NEXT GENERAL MANAGER! Eleventh Street Pizza is an artisan pizza concept byDavid Foulquier, a born and bred New Yorker with a love for pizza! We use 100% sourdough to make our pizza, as well as all high quality preparation of organic ingredients. We offer a rotating selection of beers & wines and non-alcoholic beverages. The General Manager will represent Eleventh Street Pizza with hospitality, generosity, curiosity and respect in every interaction with the team and guests. This role reports to our Director of Operations and will be responsible for overseeing our Downtown Miami location.Our General ManagerPrimary Responsibilites: Respresent Eleventh Street Pizza with hospitality, genorosity, curiosity, and brings these qualities to every interaction with the staff and ourguests,. Recruiting & hiring,training & coaching, disciplining & development of the team. Schedule for business needs and train staff to work cross functionally. Organize and directs FOH and BOH operations with a hands on approach. Providesstaff training and development and troubleshooting all issues while assisting at all levels Manageusing progressive disciplinary standards and conduct routine performance reviews. Enforce sanitary practices for sanitation and food handling, maintenance of service and dining areas. Planning, monitoring, and track businessresults; developing incentives for staff to promote a positive work environment. Work withDOO to prepare and conduct effective events & things happening within the restaurant. Responds quickly and positively to customer concerns and complaints. Schedule for business needs; proactively control labor costs to maximize cost efficiencies. Oversees all aspects of production, including dough, sauces, dressings, desserts and food preparation, to ensure products meet quality and consistency standards. Manage inventory levels of raw materials and ingredients, coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and optimal pricing. Ensure staff is trained on techniques, recipes and food and workplace safety procedures. Implement and enforce sanitation dn food safety protocols. Maintain and update POS for food program and staff members. Review financial statements and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement. Entering invoices on a timely basis. Being in consistent communication with Kitchen Manager to make sure we are staying in budget. Requirements:Available to work 2 pm - Midnight, 5 days per week, weekends are required.3 + years of high volume restaurant management experience,Food Handler Certification is a plus.Inventory and ordering managementDetail orientdPOS (Toast) system knowledge.Strong communnicator with excellent interpersoanl skills.Able to lead by example to manage and motivate the team.Skilled problem solver and team player.Willing to learn and work with a positive approach.We are a company that is fastly growing and promotes within.
